Our train station resides on the main New Haven Line\, which means a frequent schedule and express trains to Stamford and Manhattan’s Grand Central Terminal. Milford is convenient to both I-95 (Exits 34-40) and the Merritt Parkway/Wilbur Cross Parkway (Exits 54 & 55)\, just 60 miles to New York City and 140 miles to Boston. In addition\, a full-service harbor welcomes boaters to enjoy our bars\, restaurants\, and shopping downtown. \nFor a limited time\, commuters and the residents of Milford will join together for a 10-Week Happy Hour Event Series aboard the mobile Rambling Inn Irish Pub in downtown Milford\, CT from 5pm-7pm on 10 consecutive Thursdays beginning on June 27th-September 5th. Participants who desire also get the chance to try out paranormal investigation tools like EMF detectors and dowsing rods. Cost for advance tickets is $18 per person. DESCRIPTION:The MAC’s Eastbound Theatre is proud to bring you a FREE one-day outdoor community performance of Our Town by Thornton Wilder\, celebrating our 25th year and our small city with a big heart – Milford CT. The reading will take place at various locations around Milford – our small city with big heart with 45 minute breaks in between each act so that you can enjoy a discounted snack at one of several shops in town. \nFeaturing a cast of dignitaries and notable community members: \nSenator James Maroney\nMayor Ben Blake\nAlderman Frank Smith\nAlderman Dan German\nDan Brownwell & the UCC Choir \nThis experience is like nothing else you will ever enjoy! \nWe’ll meet at the gazebo on the green at 1pm. Executive Producer\, Nancy Herman has arranged to have each act directed by a different Eastbound Theatre director. Ann Baker will direct Act One on the Green\, Mike Chavel will direct Act Two on the veranda in front of the Parsons Building overlooking the waterfall at \, and Tom Rushen will direct Act Three behind the DAR in the cemetery. \nEach act is 45 minutes long with 45 minute breaks in between. Bring a lawn chair and water bottle. \nCome before 1pm and enjoy a nice lunch on the green or restaurant and stay after the reading for a reception at Stonebridge at 5pm! \nBe present\, be joyful\, and learn how to enjoy the simple pleasures of life with us for the day…maybe even beyond.

Our train station resides on the main New Haven Line\, which means a frequent schedule and express trains to Stamford and Manhattan’s Grand Central Terminal. Milford is convenient to both I-95 (Exits 34-40) and the Merritt Parkway/Wilbur Cross Parkway (Exits 54 & 55)\, just 60 miles to New York City and 140 miles to Boston. In addition\, a full-service harbor welcomes boaters to enjoy our bars\, restaurants\, and shopping downtown. \nFor a limited time\, commuters and the residents of Milford will join together for a 10-Week Happy Hour Event Series aboard the mobile Rambling Inn Irish Pub in downtown Milford\, CT from 5pm-7pm on 10 consecutive Thursdays beginning on June 27th-September 5th. They sell the canvases to raise money for humanitarian causes. The most recent initiative is Native Eyes which raises money for free glasses and eye care for residents of Native American communities (https://www.artistsforworldpeace.org/native-eyes). \nOur blank canvases are sold out.
