DESCRIPTION:The Folks on Spokes Ride/Step Forward Memorial Walk is on Sunday\, September 15th at Fowler Field in Milford. Funds raised will support Bridges Healthcare’s addiction and mental health services for people in our community on the road to recovery.Cyclists of all levels can bike 5\, 10\, 20 or 40 mile routes (or any combination of these) to promote mental health and wellness. The rest stops along the route offer water\, fruit and snack bars. All riders must wear a bicycle helmet and follow safe cycling practices throughout their ride. \nWalkers can enjoy a 5K route on the scenic Connecticut coastline while honoring the tragic end to lives lost to addiction\, overdose\, suicide or other mental health related issues.
